Server – Rooftop Bar (Detroit)

About the role

We are looking for an upbeat, polished Server to join the team at Kampers Rooftop Bar in Detroit. The role involves delivering attentive, friendly service in a high‑energy, open‑air setting while helping guests enjoy our seasonal cocktails and shareable plates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging service to all guests.
• Guide guests through food and beverage menus with confidence.
• Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and seasonal items.
• Efficiently manage tables, including order entry, coursing and payment handling.
• Communicate clearly with bar, kitchen and support staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Keep your section clean, organized and compliant with sanitation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues professionally.
• Contribute to the lively, social atmosphere of the rooftop venue.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of serving experience in a high‑volume or upscale bar/restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage fundamentals.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a guest‑focused mindset.
• Positive attitude, collaborative team approach and flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
