SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an SEO Specialist to join a healthcare organization in Bloomington, Minnesota on a long‑term contract. The role will shape search visibility across traditional engines, answer‑driven experiences and emerging AI platforms to attract and engage prospective patients and members.

Key responsibilities

• Create and guide comprehensive search initiatives across organic, answer‑based and AI‑generated result environments.
• Conduct technical SEO reviews and recommend improvements for crawlability, indexing, site structure, structured data and page experience.
• Research keywords, topics, entities and evolving user intent to inform content plans for web, voice and AI‑assisted channels.
• Develop optimization recommendations for content, metadata, internal linking and information architecture to improve rankings and visibility in featured answers and generative experiences.
• Partner with marketing, communications and web experience teams to align search priorities with business goals.
• Establish best practices for local search, schema usage, content formatting and AI‑friendly structures.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Adobe Analytics and interpret data to identify opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders on shifting search behavior and AI‑driven discovery.
• Support major digital initiatives such as website migrations from a search impact perspective.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience developing SEO strategy, including technical SEO, on‑page optimization and content‑focused planning.
• Working knowledge of answer engine optimization, structured content and emerging AI‑search approaches.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams and communicate insights effectively.
