Senior Web Developer – Full‑Stack & GIS Integration

About the role

Alta Planning + Design is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join its Web and Digital Studio within the TDM Marketing & Creative Services team. The role focuses on delivering complex, data‑driven web solutions while collaborating with designers, marketers, GIS specialists, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full‑stack websites, web applications, interactive dashboards, calculators, and internal tools.
• Translate wireframes and design systems into responsive, high‑performance interfaces.
• Integrate GIS data and web‑mapping platforms such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal, StoryMaps, Mapbox, and similar services.
• Develop APIs, service integrations, and data‑processing workflows using Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Connect web products to external databases, CRMs, CDPs, and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Ortto).
• Configure and extend platforms such as ArcGIS Experience Builder or Tableau as required.
• Set up website analytics and measurement tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering full‑stack web solutions in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to partner with designers, marketers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders.
