Senior Vice President, Growth – Medical Communications

About the role

Real Chemistry is looking for a senior, growth‑focused leader to head business development for its Medical Communications practice across the United States and globally. The role reports directly to executive leadership and carries full responsibility for revenue growth, market positioning, and long‑term performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive top‑line revenue growth for Medical Communications in U.S. and international markets.
• Identify, shape, and convert high‑value opportunities across promotional medical education, medical affairs, publications, and integrated scientific communications.
• Build and execute scalable growth strategies, including expansion into new geographies, therapy areas, and client segments.
• Lead complex, high‑value RFPs and strategic pursuits, delivering differentiated positioning.
• Leverage deep industry expertise and networks to originate opportunities and cultivate senior‑level client relationships.
• Translate pipeline intelligence and market insights into actionable growth plans.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with extensive experience in medical communications, promotional medical education, and medical affairs.
• Demonstrated track record of building client relationships that generate sustained revenue growth.
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen and scientific fluency.
• Ability to lead complex pursuits, influence executive stakeholders, and convert opportunities into long‑term partnerships.
