- Build real-time telemetry pipelines with Grafana Cloud, Alloy and Prometheus to detect latency spikes.
- Reduce tick-to-trade latency, improve deployment cycles, practice sustainable incident response, reduce MTTR, set error budgets and run blameless postmortems.
- Share on-call duties and act as a primary escalation point for production incidents.
- Enforce security best practices across trading infrastructure.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure or Systems Engineer in low-latency electronic trading environments.
- Proven track record producing low-latency trading systems across cloud, on-prem and colocation environments.
- Deep Linux kernel knowledge (performance tuning, memory management, network I/O) and hands-on AWS low-latency optimization.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for stateful trading systems and with FIX protocol and Aeron messaging.
Required skills
- Terraform and Ansible
- Docker, Docker Compose and Kubernetes
- Grafana Cloud, Alloy and Prometheus
- Python and Bash scripting
- Preferred: Rust or Java, canary/blue-green releases, SLOs and SLAs, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis
