Senior Technical Supply Chain Manager – Satellite Hardware

About the role

Reflect Orbital is seeking a senior technical supply chain manager to own sourcing, planning, purchasing and fulfillment for satellite flight hardware from prototype through production. This hands‑on role works closely with engineering, manufacturing and test teams to ensure parts arrive on time without losing technical context.

Key responsibilities

• Own the direct supply chain for satellite hardware, including sourcing, planning, purchasing and fulfillment.
• Build and maintain material plans for each spacecraft build, tracking long‑lead items, critical‑path parts, inventory, shortages and supplier delivery dates.
• Translate engineering drawings, BOMs and specs into RFQ packages, qualify suppliers and negotiate pricing, lead times and terms.
• Place and manage purchase orders, resolve supplier blockers and ensure timely delivery for engineering, test and flight builds.
• Develop the operating system for the supply chain: approved supplier lists, lead‑time tracking, dashboards, PO discipline and supplier scorecards.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in technical sourcing, hardware supply chain, procurement or NPI for complex, high‑reliability hardware.
• Hands‑on experience managing supply chain for flight hardware or similar sectors (aerospace, robotics, automotive, defense, medical, etc.).
• Ability to read drawings, BOMs, specs and identify manufacturability, cost, lead‑time and risk.
• Proven track record running RFQs, qualifying suppliers, negotiating quotes and recovering late or high‑risk parts.
• Strong communication skills with engineers, suppliers, leadership and finance.
