Senior Technical Advisor, Integrated Services, Primary Health Care

About the role

PATH is seeking a senior‑level technical advisor to strengthen the design, delivery and implementation science of integrated infectious‑disease services within primary health‑care programmes. Working 60 % of a full‑time schedule, the advisor will report to the Global Program Director, PHC and support country teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and implementation‑science aspects of integrated testing, prevention and treatment services.
• Develop and standardise tools such as SOPs, training packages, policy briefs, and programmatic guidance documents.
• Provide technical support, co‑design, mentoring and training to country partners for integrated service roll‑out.
• Lead or support implementation‑science protocols and generate knowledge products (articles, abstracts, blogs).
• Engage with major stakeholders (GFATM, GAVI, WHO) to advance integrated service systems.
• Oversee technical staff through a matrixed management approach and represent the PHC programme in technical working groups and meetings.
• Contribute to business development and proposal preparation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in integrated infectious‑disease service design and implementation within primary health‑care settings.
• Proven track record of producing SOPs, training materials, policy briefs and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Strong ability to provide technical mentorship and facilitate learning exchanges with country teams.
• Experience working with global health partners such as GFATM, GAVI and WHO.
• Excellent written communication skills for knowledge‑product development.
