Senior Tax Accountant – Indianapolis

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Indianapolis team. In this role you will lead complex tax compliance projects, ensure accurate reporting, and support the organization’s tax strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns, reports, and payments for multiple entities.
• Analyze accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Collect tax timing differences and review country tax provisions.
• Maintain tax depreciation schedules and control schedules for worldwide tax provisions.
• Coordinate tax data, including section 199A, intercompany activity, fuel tax credits, and CFC earnings.
• Research and respond to tax questions from third‑party preparers, auditors, and tax notices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of tax experience, preferably in a public‑accounting environment.
• Active CPA license strongly preferred.
• Self‑starter with proven leadership ability and strong communication skills.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Tax return preparation and compliance.
