Senior Strategy Consultant – Logistics & Transportation

About the role

Logistics Capital & Strategy (LCS) is seeking a Strategy Consultant or Senior Strategy Consultant to join its transportation and logistics advisory practice. You will work on a variety of engagements, from private‑equity due diligence to corporate growth strategy and airport/airline advisory, gaining direct exposure to senior leadership and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build financial, operational and forecast models in Microsoft Excel using public filings, client data and proprietary industry datasets.
• Validate model outputs against transportation, financial and operational realities.
• Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, customers, competitors, cost structures and operating benchmarks.
• Synthesize findings into clear client presentations and written deliverables.
• Support engagement teams from kickoff through final delivery, including participation in client meetings.
• Contribute to business development activities such as market outlooks, conference materials and client proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1‑5 years of experience with substantial financial modeling responsibilities (e.g., investment banking, private equity, equity research, transaction advisory, corporate development, or financial consulting).
• Strong analytical mindset with a habit of cross‑checking work against external benchmarks.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling.
• Proficient Microsoft PowerPoint for client presentations.
