Senior Software Engineer – Pre‑Service Team

About the role

Collectly is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the pre‑service portion of its AI‑driven revenue‑cycle platform. You will design and ship backend solutions that retrieve, combine, and interpret insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, referrals, and cost estimates before a patient’s visit.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑based workflows that merge data from multiple extraction channels and resolve conflicts.
• Analyze production metrics to identify and close accuracy gaps on real‑world customer problems.
• Own feature development end‑to‑end, including requirements, coding, testing, observability, rollout, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with the founder, product managers, designers, and engineering peers to balance trade‑offs and deliver high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Work with urgency on critical features while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience building complex backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar).
• Passion for delivering exceptional products in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
