Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Shuttlebase is building an AI‑driven platform that automatically rebuilds websites to improve conversion and growth. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work across the full stack, shaping the technical DNA of a fast‑moving early‑stage startup.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend APIs and frontend dashboards that handle tens of millions of web events daily.
• Design large‑scale data infrastructure to analyze website performance and generate optimization recommendations.
• Train, integrate, and deploy large language models (LLMs) that automatically hypothesize, generate, and validate website variants.
• Define engineering culture, best practices, and team processes.
• Prototype, experiment, and iterate rapidly at the intersection of research, product, AI, and scale.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Proven ability to ship high‑quality code quickly and at scale.
• Experience leading projects or small teams.
• Strong background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Passion for AI and building real‑world applications with LLMs.
