Senior Software Engineer - Continuity

About the role

Rad AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Continuity team, building reliable, scalable care‑coordination applications for radiology. You will work with a cross‑functional group of engineers, ML specialists, and product leaders to deliver high‑performance, HIPAA‑compliant web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop large‑scale progressive and single‑page web applications that streamline radiology workflows.
• Build and maintain Python/FastAPI backend services, including REST APIs and ML pipeline integrations.
• Implement new features for a growing customer base while ensuring security, performance, and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and customer success teams to iterate on features and resolve defects.
• Advocate for improvements in code quality, security, and operational excellence across the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in single‑tenant and multi‑tenant environments.
• Strong version‑control skills using Git and experience working on distributed teams.
• Proven ability to diagnose and prevent performance and scalability issues at large scale.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools while maintaining high code quality.
