Senior Service Technician – Mitchell Lofts

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain the Mitchell Lofts property in Dallas. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Track and replenish maintenance inventory, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and amenities by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and performing general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience performing technical and mechanical work in residential or commercial properties.
• Ability to diagnose defects, follow safety procedures, and complete detailed documentation.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and vendor coordination.
