Senior Service Technician – Alta 99th

About the role

The Senior Service Technician ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas at the Alta 99th property meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This onsite role involves hands‑on technical and mechanical work to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and applicable codes.
• Carry out the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final preparation for new move‑ins.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, parts used and time spent on each task.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed to address larger or specialized repairs.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or commercial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, inspection reports and building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, team members and external vendors.
