Senior Sales Manager – Automotive

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead net‑new business development in the automotive segment of its Manufacturing practice. Based in Detroit, the role focuses on identifying, engaging and closing strategic, large‑scale deals with manufacturers and other asset‑heavy enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and close new automotive accounts, driving new‑logo acquisition and pipeline velocity.
• Develop and execute sales strategies based on market, competition and partner ecosystem insights.
• Collaborate with solutioning and delivery teams to shape compelling client value propositions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
• Maintain a strong network within automotive, industrial, aerospace & defense and related sectors.

Required profile

• Proven “hunter” with a track record of winning large, strategic deals in the manufacturing or automotive space.
• Deep understanding of IT solutions and services for industrial manufacturers.
• Ability to think big‑picture while working closely with technical teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
