About the role
The University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Senior Research Associate 2 to support community-engaged cancer and behavioral health research. The role is based on the UHealth campus in Miami and involves coordinating research projects that address health disparities.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and manage research data while maintaining databases.
- Interpret research protocols and ensure compliance with good research practice.
- Contribute to the preparation and publication of research findings.
- Stay current with developments in behavioral science, community-based research, and cancer disparities.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to junior staff and students.
- Adhere to university policies and safeguard institutional assets.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, behavioral science).
- Minimum of one year of relevant research experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new procedures and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Data analysis and database management capabilities.
