Senior Provider Relations Coordinator

About the role

HCSC is looking for a Senior Provider Relations Coordinator to provide support and build and maintain cooperative working relationships with contracted providers under supervision. The role enhances providers' ease of doing business with HCSC, including issue tracking and resolution, training, trend identification and evaluation of providers to ensure contractual and financial requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Support and develop cooperative working relationships with contracted providers under supervision
• Track and resolve issues, educate and train providers, and evaluate them against contractual and financial requirements
• Review, audit or validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, track projects and follow up on action items
• Create reports, presentations and spreadsheets, and generate reports from CRM systems

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of managed care operations experience handling independent work, or 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a managed care, health plan, provider network or healthcare operations environment
• Experience performing administrative and operational support functions with a high degree of accuracy
• Experience supporting provider relations, network operations, credentialing, contracting or healthcare administration
• Ability to identify issues, research solutions and follow through to resolution with minimal supervision
• Flex role: 3 days in the Texas office and 2 days remote; minimum 3 days per week in the office

Required skills

• Salesforce or other CRM systems to track activities, manage workflows and generate reports
• Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
• Data review, reporting and presentation creation
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills

What we offer

• Base pay range of $47,500 to $86,000, varying with skills, experience and location
