Senior Project Manager – Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

Our client, a leading telecom network builder, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale fiber, wireless and network upgrade projects across the United States. The role combines strategic direction, safety leadership and hands‑on delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Plan, execute and control complex telecom infrastructure projects, including fiber deployments, small‑cell installations and tower builds.
• Manage risk, permitting, client communications and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and cost tracking using industry‑standard tools.
• Lead the development and implementation of Project Quality Plans and ensure adherence to construction standards (NESC, NEC, local codes).
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Identify and support new project opportunities and negotiate contracts.

Required profile

• 8 + years of telecom or utility construction project management experience delivering large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering or related field (diploma or technical training accepted).
• Deep knowledge of telecom construction methods, permitting processes and industry standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage subcontractors and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience with contract negotiation, cost control and scheduling tools is a plus.
