Senior Project Manager - Localization

About the role

The Senior Project Manager is a key member of the Operations team, responsible for developing localization solutions and workflows, delivering projects on time and accurately, and working closely with Client Managers to maximize revenue and build long-term client relationships. The role is a leadership position that may include mentoring Project Managers and supervising one or more of them, and serves as the primary point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with current and prospective clients, identify new business opportunities and share them with the Sales team.
• Develop and execute solutions for clients, support the Sales team in closing deals, and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to Project Managers and Project Coordinators, and manage contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with the Sales team and Project Managers to set project schedules and maintain clear communication channels.
• Maintain and update business systems such as WorkFront, LLTS Wiki and other databases, and represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
• Arrange and assign linguists, manage their relationships, and monitor quality control procedures.
• Track projects, report status and issues to Account Executives, authorize and sign off on delivered projects, and train Project Managers and advise on systems development.
• Contribute to the Process and Quality Improvement Initiative through cross-functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of database functions and concepts.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Project management fundamentals as applied to the localization industry.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
