Senior Product Manager

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Product Manager in Pennant Park. The role assesses market needs and leads cross-functional product teams to deliver value that drives sales, improves efficiency and raises customer satisfaction. It works at both strategic and tactical levels, with products that are often higher-profile and larger in scope.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning (about 50%): turn business goals and user needs into product strategy, set goals and metrics, manage and groom the product backlog, partner with Finance on business plans, and monitor research and competition
• Delivery and execution (about 20%): run user research and testing, document quality and change control standards, create and prioritize user stories, take part in standups, iteration planning, demos and retrospectives, and explain technical concepts simply to stakeholders
• People (about 30%): foster collaboration with Engineering and UX, advocate for the end user, guide junior team members, and help with talent acquisition, development and retention

Required profile

• At least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Preferred: 3-6 years of relevant experience, including as a Product Manager in a modern software development environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• Typically reports to the Product Management Manager or Sr. Manager; overnight travel under 10%
