Senior Product Manager, Digital Asset Management (Virtual)

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Digital Asset Management (DAM) product, a virtual position. The role drives the product strategy, roadmap and delivery of DAM, owning the lifecycle of atomic assets and metadata management and leading integrations with content management, marketing and activation platforms. It works with developers, designers and business partners to deliver products that drive sales, improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy and planning (about 50%): turn business goals and end-user needs into product strategy, set goals and metrics, manage and groom the product backlog, partner with Finance on business plans, and monitor research and the competitive landscape.
• Delivery and execution (about 20%): run user research and testing, document quality and change control standards, create and prioritize user stories, take part in standups, planning, demos and retrospectives, and explain technical concepts simply to stakeholders.
• People (about 30%): foster collaboration with Engineering and UX, advocate for the end user, guide junior team members, and contribute to learning communities and talent activities.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Typically reports to a Product Management Manager or Sr. Manager; usually less than 10% overnight travel.
• Preferred: 3-6 years of product management experience, including hands-on experience managing and scaling DAM platforms.
• Preferred: deep knowledge of content supply chain processes (content creation, asset intake, metadata governance, distribution and activation).
• Preferred: experience with PIM systems, CMS with bidirectional asset syncing, data modeling for asset governance, AI-powered metadata enrichment and automated tagging, and building search experiences and taxonomies.
• Preferred: experience in a modern software development environment, user research, competitive analysis, and mentoring junior PMs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
