Senior Private Client Advisor

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Senior Private Client Advisor in Charlotte, NC, on its Private Client Services team. The advisor works with high-net-worth clients, reviewing their exposures and loss experience to recommend suitable insurance products and services, and building long-term relationships through proactive, personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client exposures and loss experience to understand their current coverages and recommend the right products and services.
• Present accurate market data and help clients navigate complex risks with informed advice.
• Anticipate client needs and answer questions in person, by phone or by email.
• Gather information on risk management needs and financial loss tolerance to propose tailored solutions.
• Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and conduct annual Client Advisory reviews.
• Grow the business through referrals and expanding client programs.
• Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to secure comprehensive coverage while complying with industry laws and regulations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of personal lines insurance experience with high-net-worth clientele.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
• Client service orientation with a balance of managing expectations.
• Willingness to travel for client and company meetings as needed.

A Bachelor's degree and professional designations such as CPCU, CIC or CPRIA are a plus, as is previous experience with luxury carriers such as AIG, Chubb and PURE.

• Base salary of $66,000 to $123,100, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, plus possible performance-based incentives.
