Senior Private Client Advisor - HNW Personal Lines Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Senior Private Client Advisor for its Private Client Services team, working in a hybrid setup with the New York Metro office. The advisor works with high-net-worth clients, recommending products and services that fit their needs and growing the business through referrals and expanded client programs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client exposures and loss experience to understand their current coverages and recommend the right products and services.
• Present accurate market data and help clients navigate complex risks with informed advice.
• Anticipate client needs and answer questions in person, by phone or by email.
• Gather information on risk management needs and financial loss tolerance to propose tailored solutions.
• Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and run annual Client Advisory reviews.
• Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to secure comprehensive coverage while complying with industry laws and regulations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of personal lines insurance experience with high-net-worth clientele.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
• Client service orientation with a balance of managing expectations.
• Willingness to travel for client and company meetings as needed.

Additional qualifications (not required)

• Bachelor's degree.
• Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CPRIA.
• Relationships with luxury carriers such as AIG, Chubb, PURE.
• Experience with the Epic system.

• Base salary of $89,500 to $166,900, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, plus possible performance-based incentives.
