Client Service Associate, Business Insurance

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Client Service Associate for its Business Insurance Property & Casualty Group in New York. The associate supports the Account Management and Sales teams so that clients' needs and expectations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete the marketing process for new and renewal group business: compile data, solicit quotes, monitor bid requests, correspond with vendors and prepare complex cost sheets following the Resource Guide workflow.
• Support the issuance and management of certificates of insurance.
• Prepare client communication materials used in strategic planning, renewals and quarterly reviews, finalist presentations and other client-facing interactions.

Required profile

• At least one year of Property & Casualty Insurance experience, preferably in a brokerage environment.
• Effective oral and written communication and client relationship-building skills.
• Active insurance license or willingness to obtain one within 3 months of employment.
• A college degree in Risk Management, Business or a related program is a plus, as is exposure to Applied Epic.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
