Senior Principal Scientist, Medical Affairs – Global Head & Neck Cancers

About the role

The Senior Principal Scientist leads Global Medical Affairs for head & neck cancers and melanoma, shaping scientific and medical strategies across the product lifecycle. This senior position partners with cross‑functional teams to drive data generation, stakeholder engagement, and life‑cycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Global Scientific and Medical Affairs Plans, aligning with franchise and product development teams.
• Lead medical input into outcomes research, post‑registration studies, and investigator‑initiated programs.
• Chair Global Medical Affairs Teams, synthesize regional insights, and maintain execution summaries.
• Engage external scientific leaders through advisory boards, symposia, publications, and collaborations.
• Support asset regulatory, reputational, and ethical issue resolution and contribute to labeling committees.

Required profile

• MD, PhD or PharmD (MD preferred) with 5+ years of clinical/research experience in the therapeutic area.
• 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience in an international role, with proven strategic contributions.
• Strong track record of scientific communication, stakeholder networking, and translating strategy into executed tactics.
