Senior PR & Social Strategist

About the role

Flint Group is seeking a Senior PR & Social Strategist to shape client narratives, build brand awareness, and drive measurable results. The role is based primarily in our Fargo office, with collaboration opportunities across Duluth and Kansas City.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation and execution of integrated PR and social strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Mentor Integrated Media Team members, enhancing strategic thinking and overall output.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insights on trends, reputation management, and earned media.
• Design multi‑platform content plans that blend PR storytelling with social media engagement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, creators, and community partners.
• Write and edit high‑impact communications such as press releases, thought leadership pieces, and executive social content.
• Coordinate internal teams to solve challenges and deliver cohesive campaigns.
• Define success metrics, analyze performance data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Support new‑business initiatives by showcasing Flint Group’s integrated capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and executing integrated PR and social media strategies across diverse audiences.
• Ability to connect PR, social, creative, paid media, and broader marketing into a unified plan.
• Thoughtful integration of AI tools with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and strategic enhancement.
• Talent for uncovering compelling stories and adapting them for various platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to define success, interpret performance, and provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, capable of articulating strategies to clients and internal teams.
