Senior Motion Designer

About the role

Senior Motion Designer in Bumble's Creative Studio, based in New York, creating motion design for global brands across campaigns, social, and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of motion design and animation for social, digital, campaigns globally.
• Own complex briefs from concept to execution, delivering high-quality on‑brand motion work.
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, copywriters and agency partners to produce cohesive work.
• Develop and formalise motion guidelines and a consistent motion language for Bumble’s brands.
• Present work to stakeholders and champion brand standards across markets.
• Oversee freelancers and agency partners in video editing and post‑production when required.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and versatile motion design across brand campaigns, social and digital.
• 7+ years of motion design experience, preferably in tech, with ability to deliver high‑volume, high‑quality animation in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with a proactive, collaborative attitude, comfortable working autonomously and with geographically diverse teams.
• Experience working with agency partners and guiding creative output to meet high standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
