Senior Mobile Applications Developer & Systems Engineer

About the role

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Mobile Applications Developer & Systems Engineer to support a critical Intelligence Community sponsor. The role bridges program management and technical delivery, turning complex operational needs into reliable, field‑ready mobile and geospatial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sponsor program manager with operational and database support to ensure solution reliability.
• Collaborate with multiple operational teams to design and execute enterprise‑wide technical strategies.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in geospatial technology and mobile ecosystems.
• Translate high‑level mission requirements into detailed technical specifications through direct customer engagement.
• Track program progress, identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure mission success.
• Lead technical meetings with vendors, evaluate commercial, FOSS, and GOTS software, and provide security guidance.
• Integrate geospatial mission data into common enterprise web applications.
• Perform system and database administration, including file and access management on Amazon EC2, S3, and related AWS services.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 8+ years of experience in application development or systems engineering.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Android mobile development (must‑have) and proven iOS development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to convert operational mission needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 and S3, and cloud‑based system/database administration.
