Senior Marketing Cloud Developer

About the role

HIKE2 is seeking a Senior Marketing Cloud Developer to help clients build personalized, data‑driven customer engagement on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data 360. You will act as a technical advisor and hands‑on developer, shaping requirements, designing solutions, and guiding less‑experienced developers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design for Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data 360 projects, including data models, journey architecture, integration patterns, and activation approaches.
• Build and troubleshoot Journey Builder journeys, Automation Studio processes, AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, CloudPages, and preference centers.
• Implement Data 360 configurations: data streams, identity resolution, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation.
• Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems via Marketing Cloud Connect, REST and SOAP APIs, and middleware.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, data validation, consent compliance, documentation, and deployment.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement development.
• 2+ years implementing Data 360 with at least one production delivery.
• Experience leading client workshops, explaining trade‑offs, and delivering functional builds.
• Understanding of data quality, consent management, deliverability, and privacy regulations (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder).
• Data 360 (Data Cloud) data streams, identity resolution, segmentation.
• AMPscript, Server‑Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL.
• Marketing Cloud Connect, REST and SOAP APIs integration.
• Data modeling, data validation, privacy compliance.
