Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Product Launch & Scalability

About the role

BETA Technologies is seeking a senior manufacturing engineer to lead product launch and scalability initiatives for electric aircraft. You will use data‑driven modeling to improve workflows, automation, and labor efficiency while ensuring compliance with FAA Part 21 and Part 23 certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Model and analyze production workflows to identify constraints and design scalable solutions.
• Develop and implement long‑term strategies to improve cycle time, labor efficiency, and cost.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives aligning engineering, operations, and supply‑chain teams.
• Drive implementation of advanced tooling, robotics, automation, and digital production systems.
• Optimize material flow, logistics, and kitting to reduce waste and improve throughput.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing, aerospace production, or process optimization.
• Proven ability to drive large‑scale efficiency improvements and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 21 production requirements and aerospace quality standards.

Required skills

• Process modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Delmia, Minitab, JMP).
• CAD software such as CATIA and SolidWorks.
• ERP/MES systems and data‑analysis tools.
• Statistical process control (SPC), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and root‑cause analysis (RCA).
