Senior Manager/Director, Product – Developer Platform

About the role

Runway’s Developer Platform (RunwayDev) powers developers to integrate AI media models into their applications. We are looking for a senior product leader to own the platform business end‑to‑end, drive API revenue and shape the platform strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the developer platform business, driving API ARR, sign‑ups, activation, weekly active developers and NPS.
• Define and execute the platform strategy, prioritising product bets and making investment decisions.
• Acquire and grow professional developer customers, agencies, software tools and platform partners.
• Ship features hands‑on, write PRs, build reference integrations and collaborate with engineering, design, DevRel and partnerships.
• Build and lead a product team, hiring PMs as the business scales.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably leading a developer‑facing or API platform at scale.
• Proven track record of moving revenue and adoption metrics, not just shipping features.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment and make decisions with incomplete information.
• Business‑oriented mindset with experience owning usage‑based / consumption API P&L.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in API and SDK design, developer onboarding, activation and documentation.
• Strong technical fluency to discuss latency, cost, reliability and integration ergonomics.
• Experience with usage‑based pricing, packaging and AI media or inference platforms.
