Senior Manager, Tax Innovation DevOps

About the role

As a Senior Manager in Tax Innovation, you will lead the transformation of the DevSecOps infrastructure within PwC’s Tax practice. You will integrate innovative solutions to improve client support services, ensuring security, efficiency and operational excellence across large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies to enhance security and efficiency in tax‑focused projects.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Oversee continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery and minimise downtime.
• Utilise GitHub and version‑control tools to maintain project timelines and code quality.
• Implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments and lead incident remediation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and adopt new security operations practices.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Conduct risk evaluation and mitigation to protect client data and systems.
• Troubleshoot reliability issues and optimise performance using DataDog and Log Analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred academic background in analytics, data science, AI/robotics, business administration, computer science, economics, engineering, mathematics or statistics.
