Senior Manager, Operations Program Management

About the role

Archipelago Companies, a portfolio of consumer lifestyle brands including OluKai, Melin, Roark and Tradewind Services, is hiring a Senior Manager, Operations Program Management in Irvine, CA. Reporting to the Director of Operations, Program Management, the role leads the EDI team, acts as the order-to-cash subject matter expert, helps build a formal Sales Operations construct and sits between Operations and brand leadership. It is a hands-on position, with the manager personally handling EDI processing and account issues when volume, absences or escalations arise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the EDI team, set performance goals, run one-on-ones and lead mid-year and annual reviews
• Oversee daily EDI processing so orders flow accurately, on time and in compliance, and step in during peaks or absences
• Own the chargeback and non-compliance resolution process, track trends and report to the Director
• Serve as escalation point for complex account or integration issues and manage relationships with third-party EDI platform providers
• Partner with the Inventory Optimization Manager on allocation decisions aligned to order flow and fulfillment needs
• Standardize order-to-cash processes, reporting and KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time EDI transmission and chargeback rate
• Own orderbook visibility and OTIF reporting, and support end-of-month landing alignment on EDI readiness
• Act as first responder for EDI system issues and support ERP and platform implementation and testing
• Help build a formal Sales Operations construct, support new account and brand onboarding, and represent Operations to brand and Sales leadership
• Support international and intercompany operations and sales teams with best practices from HQ

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 8+ years in EDI, order-to-cash or operations in wholesale, retail or consumer goods
• 3+ years directly managing or leading a team
• Proven track record as an order-to-cash subject matter expert who has built or scaled an operations function
• Experience with major wholesale/retail accounts and their compliance, routing and chargeback requirements
• Experience partnering with Sales or Sales Operations teams

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of EDI transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 870, 846, 832, 997)
• Hands-on experience with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, GXS, DSCO or DIcentral
• ERP experience (Full Circle, NetSuite, SAP or similar), including UAT support and enhancement recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with multiple systems and vendor portals
• Power BI or Tableau a plus
