Senior Manager, Operations – Production Control & Planning

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead daily operational planning and production control at its Henderson Distribution Center. You will coordinate workflow, staffing, and technology to meet customer Service Level Agreements while upholding safety, cost, quality, and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production control and planning, aligning workload with staffing to meet SLAs, cost per unit, and units per hour targets.
• Publish and communicate operational changes, special requirements, and priorities across all shifts.
• Partner with Technical Services and Business Technology to schedule preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and operational modifications.
• Collaborate with Finance and Network Strategy to align forecasts with financial planning and adjust operational plans as needed.
• Conduct weekly demand planning reviews, provide senior leadership visibility into demand assumptions and operational risks, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain daily engagement with Customer and Logistics Service teams, escalating transportation or outbound shipment issues.
• Own the daily KPI dashboard, ensure accurate reporting, and compile data for the Monthly Business Review.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading operations, production control, or planning in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams including Operations, Planning, Technology, Finance, HR, and Customer Service.
• Excellent communication skills for publishing operational updates and presenting to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and staffing impact on operations.
