Senior Manager, Data Science – Generative AI & Content Systems

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Manager of Data Science to lead a high‑impact team that builds production‑grade NLP and generative‑AI capabilities for legal and business information. The role will shape the strategy, standards and execution of AI across our content ecosystem, turning structured and unstructured data into actionable intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategic priorities for data science, serving as the recognized expert within the organization.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of data scientists and machine‑learning engineers, establishing a strong collaborative culture.
• Drive applied research that moves quickly from prototype to production, balancing latency, cost and reliability constraints.
• Build and scale evaluation capabilities, including offline evaluation frameworks, automated benchmarking pipelines and human‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Integrate machine‑learning and generative‑AI models directly into large‑scale content platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑science or machine‑learning teams in a production environment.
• Strong background in developing and deploying NLP and large language model solutions.
• Ability to translate research innovations into reliable, cost‑effective services.
• Excellent communication skills to convey trade‑offs and influence stakeholders.
