About the role
Senior Manager – Data Science & AI Innovation will lead Commercial advanced analytics and AI/GenAI strategy for Nestlé’s Center for Demand Generation. Acting as the bridge between commercial business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, the role drives growth by delivering data‑science, advanced analytics and AI solutions that influence commercial strategy and daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with commercial functions to assess needs and deliver accurate, timely insights that support decision‑making.
- Identify, prioritize and lead data‑science, AI and GenAI projects that align with commercial strategic priorities.
- Develop and implement advanced AI/GenAI solutions such as LLM‑powered assistants, agentic workflows and machine‑learning models in collaboration with IT partners.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical specifications and ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Champion emerging AI, GenAI and automation capabilities, turning them into scalable innovation initiatives.
- Drive operationalization and adoption of analytics and AI solutions across commercial teams, focusing on ROI.
- Represent the commercial team on Nestlé’s Data Council to influence enterprise analytics strategy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive adoption.
- 5+ years leading teams delivering enterprise‑scale solutions with machine learning, AI, GenAI, LLMs or agentic workflows.
- Proven experience in a consumer‑products commercial environment, preferably with sales or marketing focus.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking and executive presence.
