Senior Manager, Composite Production

About the role

REGENT is scaling its innovative Seaglider transportation platform from prototype to full production. The Senior Manager, Composite Production will lead the end‑to‑end composite manufacturing organization, integrating engineering, maintenance, and production to deliver high‑quality parts at volume.

Key responsibilities

• Own composite production performance, ensuring quality, yield, equipment uptime, and throughput across engineering, maintenance, and production.
• Build and develop a management layer of shift leads and supervisors to scale the workforce without compromising quality.
• Convert one‑off process fixes into auditable standard work and close the loop with engineering.
• Run preventive maintenance programs for autoclaves, ovens, presses, and trim/cure systems, tracking uptime and prioritizing resources.
• Establish structured training paths, certification levels, and skills matrices to take hires from entry to certified operators.
• Implement control plans, SPC checks, and corrective‑action processes to scale quality control across shifts.
• Partner continuously with Advanced Engineering to validate process robustness before floor deployment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading multi‑disciplinary composite manufacturing organizations at scale.
• Proven ability to build a leadership layer of leads and supervisors.
• Track record of running maintenance and reliability programs for composite equipment.
• Experience scaling a workforce through volume ramps.
• Hands‑on knowledge of prepreg, wet layup, vacuum bagging, cure, trim, and bonding.
