Senior Manager, Business Systems - UKG Workforce Management

About the role

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of the global food retailer Ahold Delhaize, is hiring a Senior Manager, Business Systems for its UKG Workforce Management platform. The role leads the strategic direction, delivery and evolution of enterprise business systems, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT. It sits in the Sltns Dvlpmnt-Engmnt-Rx, Fuel & Ofc unit in Carlisle, PA, with a hybrid schedule of 3 in-person days and 2 remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business systems leader and subject matter expert for assigned platforms, aligned with business processes, strategic goals and enterprise architecture.
• Partner with senior business leaders and product owners to identify and shape opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Lead the business systems roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, upgrades and new capabilities by business value and ROI.
• Own end-to-end accountability across systems, including integrations and cross-functional dependencies.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories, and collaborate with IT, engineering and vendors on scalable solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and compliance, and lead testing strategies such as UAT and system integration testing.
• Oversee vendor strategy, including performance optimization, contract negotiation support and cost management.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts or team leads, with a focus on capability building and succession planning.
• Establish and track KPIs, contribute to budget planning and business cases, and lead large, complex initiatives.
• Influence the move toward a product-oriented operating model and continuous delivery, and support stakeholder and senior leadership engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in a relevant technology field, in an advanced or technical capacity.
• 5+ years managing, guiding, training and onboarding team members.
• Experience with system lifecycle management, financial planning, investment prioritization and ROI analysis.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work autonomously in complex, ambiguous situations.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting UKG Pro Workforce Management (Kronos, Dimensions).
• Master's degree or relevant certifications.
• Agile and product-based delivery experience, enterprise platform support, and data-driven decision making.
• Retail, grocery or complex environment experience.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Salary range: $120,960-$181,440.
