About the role
This senior‑level position leads audit and tax engagements for a diverse client base. The role combines hands‑on technical work with leadership of junior staff, ensuring high‑quality service and timely delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead audit engagement teams through planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and final reporting.
- Review and oversee preparation of mid‑ to high‑level business tax returns and individual income tax returns.
- Mentor, train, and supervise Senior Associates and Associates, providing feedback and ensuring quality.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day accounting matters.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities and support business‑development initiatives.
- Utilize cloud‑based audit software and technology tools to improve engagement efficiency.
Required profile
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
- Experience managing staff and leading audit or tax engagements.
- Licensed CPA or CMA preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
