Senior Maintenance Technician – The Park at Armand Bayou

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s team at The Park at Armand Bayou. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. You will work directly with residents and vendors to resolve maintenance issues and prepare vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and completing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential or commercial property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety codes, and technical manuals.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and documentation management.
• Commitment to safety standards and teamwork.
