Senior Maintenance Technician – Floating – Greater San Francisco Bay Area

About the role
The Floating Senior Maintenance Technician ensures that all physical aspects of Greystar’s properties in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position is based in San Jose and supports lease‑up, mid‑rise communities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical and mechanical work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
- Maintain plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances to ensure optimal operation.
- Respond to on‑call requests and travel between South Bay properties as needed.
- Adhere to scheduled days off (Sunday and Monday) while meeting service level expectations.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of related maintenance experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and travel between sites.
- Eligibility for a 20% housing discount and incentive‑based bonuses.
