Senior Maintenance Technician – Bay Area (Floating)

About the role

The Floating Senior Maintenance Technician ensures that all physical aspects of Greystar’s properties in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This onsite role involves traveling between multiple lease‑up, mid‑rise communities to perform technical and mechanical work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances across assigned properties.
• Respond to on‑call requests and address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds to uphold brand standards.
• Document work performed and report any recurring problems to management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to travel between multiple properties within the Bay Area.
• Willingness to work on‑call rotations with Sundays and Mondays off.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
