Senior Legal Counsel – Remote

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, venture‑backed technology platform to add a Senior Legal Counsel to its lean, strategic legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work closely with senior leadership across product, engineering, go‑to‑market, security, finance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and drafting of complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, API, technology, data‑processing and vendor contracts.
• Provide product and technology counselling to engineering and product teams.
• Drive AI, automation and legal‑operations initiatives.
• Manage data‑governance, privacy and regulatory risk matters.
• Build scalable legal processes, workflows and support strategic growth projects.

Required profile

• Commercially pragmatic and solutions‑oriented attorney.
• Strong in‑house experience in technology or SaaS environments.
• Extensive commercial contracting background.
• Experience supporting product, engineering or go‑to‑market teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools, legal‑operations and workflow automation.
• Exposure to privacy, intellectual‑property, marketing or data‑governance issues.
• Ability to work independently in a lean legal team and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
