Senior LEED & Sustainability Associate

About the role

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Senior LEED & Sustainability Associate to integrate environmentally responsible practices and decarbonization strategies across its data center portfolio. Based in Denver, this hybrid role supports sustainable project outcomes and positions Rowan as a leader in responsible development.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate integration of sustainability practices into site evaluation, due diligence, and early design activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support greenhouse gas reduction, sustainability reporting, and project certifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report performance metrics on energy, water, carbon, waste, and embodied carbon.
• Develop technical reports, presentations, and sustainability deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support business development, investment memos, and corporate sustainability reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, ESG, sustainable design, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn new sustainability concepts and tools.

Required skills

• Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, GRESB, ISSB, SFDR).
• Familiarity with LEED, WELL, ENV SP credentials.
• Proficiency in sustainability and project management tools such as Procore, EC3, One Click LCA.
