Senior Leasing Professional – The Swift at Petworth Metro

About the role

This role coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention targets. The Senior Leasing Professional will manage all leasing activities, from prospecting to move‑in, and ensure resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding items with maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show unit standards and ensure community presentation meets company quality standards.
