Senior International Corporate Tax Advisor – Financial Services

About the role

EY’s Financial Services Organization is seeking a Senior professional to join its International Corporate Tax Advisory team. You will work with leading financial institutions, advising on cross‑border tax matters, treaty implementation, and corporate restructuring across multiple U.S. locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑border tax planning and restructuring engagements for corporate and private‑equity clients.
• Review foreign income taxation, treaty application, and withholding requirements.
• Provide jurisdiction‑specific reporting guidance and support dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with Transaction Advisory Services and Tax service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to cross‑competency training initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international corporate tax, preferably within financial services.
• Strong understanding of treaty interpretation, permanent establishment rules, and withholding tax.
• Ability to model multi‑jurisdictional investments and assess tax implications.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
