Senior Information Security Analyst – SecOps

About the role

DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to lead SecOps initiatives across the firm. The role focuses on detecting, investigating, and mitigating internal and external threats while collaborating with IT to maintain robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide a team of Information Security Analysts.
• Evaluate and improve information security program functions.
• Review and report on SIEM metrics, investigations, and ticket tracking.
• Perform alert triage, root‑cause analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Manage endpoint threat detection tools, including EDR, antivirus, and asset management.
• Administer next‑generation firewalls and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Conduct threat hunting and leverage threat intelligence sources.
• Utilize malware sandbox technologies and interpret results.
• Oversee incident response tools, processes, and capabilities.
• Drive vulnerability and configuration management initiatives.
• Lead independent security projects and provide performance feedback.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Security Operations (SecOps) with a proven leadership record.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and threat analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience managing vendor relationships for security operations.
