Senior Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The client is looking for a Senior Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, operate, and modernize enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises data centers and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role blends infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, automation, and cybersecurity to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platforms that support critical business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support highly available hybrid infrastructure spanning Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking, and enterprise storage.
• Lead migration of workloads from on‑premises environments to GCP, creating cloud architectures, migration strategies, cut‑over plans, and post‑migration validation.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, creating reusable modules and standardized deployment templates.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, applying GitOps practices for automated provisioning, configuration, patching, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, application, database, and networking teams to ensure security, compliance, and resilience.
• Maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions aligned with recovery objectives.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical leader with extensive experience in hybrid infrastructure and cloud transformation.
• Proven ability to manage complex migration projects and automate infrastructure lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
