  • Produce advanced graphics and animations (complex technical sequences, layered motion graphics, interactive visual elements where tooling allows) and set asset quality standards
  • Ensure visual sequencing supports learning progression and reduces learner cognitive load
  • Review visual assets for technical accuracy with subject matter experts, accessibility and alignment to storyboards and learning objectives, and document review comments and dispositions
  • Define accessibility expectations (contrast, labeling, readability) and support Section 508 remediation verification
  • Set team conventions for editable source files and asset libraries, and provide source/export bundles and change summaries to Configuration Management for controlled release

Required profile

  • Master's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication or related field with 5 years of experience, or Bachelor's with 7 years, or Associate's (or 18 semester hours of military coursework) with 9 years, or high school diploma/GED with 11 years
  • Level 2 experience plus leading visual standards, producing advanced animations and systems, reviewing assets at a senior level, and coordinating delivery bundles
  • 3 years of experience with video equipment and video editing software for training products
  • 3 years designing static graphics, animations and interactive media with Government-approved tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML5 workflows)
  • Experience reviewing assets for accessibility and documenting review comments, and supporting Section 508 verification
  • TS/SCI security clearance preferred

Required skills

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and HTML5-based workflows
  • HTML5 and JavaScript for web-based interactive elements (desired)
  • Knowledge of 3D tools and 3D models for simulation training, and ability to draw complex diagrams and illustrated characters
