Senior Global Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Electro-Mechanical Global Supply Chain Manager will lead sourcing for optical and electro‑mechanical components, aligning strategy with Rivet’s goals for cost, time‑to‑market, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term sourcing strategies for cameras, displays, cables, connectors, batteries, PCBs, and related components.
• Explore new technologies, keep stakeholders informed of market trends, and influence supplier roadmaps.
• Lead component sourcing, supplier qualification, and manage the Approved Vendors List.
• Negotiate component costs, drive margin targets, and implement risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Plan capacity for ramp‑up and mass production, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and negotiate contracts with supply‑chain partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
• 7+ years as a Global Supply Chain Manager in a fast‑paced environment.
• Direct experience managing optical and electro‑mechanical commodities.
• Proven track record in cost negotiations, buffer strategies, and supplier evaluation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior executives.
